What is the easiest way to keep wall to wall tile floors clean?

I'm am used to wall to wall carpeting, but I just moved to a new plae that's all tiled. Right now, I sweep with a traditional broom and then mop with an industrial mop. But with so much tile, it's hard to keep up with all the dust, hair and crumbs with just a regular broom. Would a regular vacuum be better? Or would a lighter weight, stick vacuum work well?
