Why is it that the American Government official supports the war?

in the Middle East then turns around and tries to veto it , Is it not for our troops being over in the Middle East preventing terrorist from attacking our own country again? So therefore why is everyone down on Bush for only doing what he has been told to do by congress! Does this not apply to every president that is elected in the Government ???? ???? Do people really want another possible terrrorist attack on the United States or the killing of innocent individuals here in this country ? And do you strongly feel that this is going to stop terriost by taking all of our soldiers from the middle east so that they can only come or start up again what they left off during 9-11 etc.??????
