What is the hat that Jay Adams wears?

I am talking about in the movie The Lords of Dogtown. Near the beggining of the movie Jay Adams takes a hat from an old man sitting on a bench right outside of the Zephyr shop. He wears it throughout the movie, and Tony Alva wears it at times also. It looks sort of like a bowlers hat or top hat. I want to get one. And I want to know wear to get one like it. So please tell me. THANKS!
