Have you ever had a close chance with being with a dream guy or girl?

This has never actually happened to me but I fear that this will happen to me sometime. Has this ever happened to you? i.e. u meet a special guy or girl that is like the person of your dreams...like this person is your sole mate...this person would make your life like heaven on earth....BUT you somehow mistakenly blew the chance forever?
