I'm babysitting two little girls...?

I'm babysitting two little girls in 1st grade, and even though they're sweet, they keep requesting ridiculous ideas like making jello and putting gummy bears in it. How do I tell them that there is no way we're doing that kind of stuff without hurting their feelings? Thanks!
