My wisdom teeth taken out a few weeks ago. I bit into a hard piece of chocolate today & heard/felt loud crack?

I wasn't even chewing on that side of my mouth. My jaw hurt at first but it doesn't really anymore (unless I'm eating). Every time I move my jaw certain ways it makes a crackling noise. What happened to mouth and what should I do?
